Điều thú vị là lưu ý xem cách nào mà kết quả quan trọng đầu tiên này của tham thiền giúp hành giả trực tiếp quay về với những sự kiện thực tế về cuộc biểu hiện thiêng liêng. Nó cũng nhấn mạnh ba trạng thái mà qua đó mọi sự sống (từ một nguyên tử vật chất đến vị thái dương Thượng Đế) tự phát triển. Hành giả nhận thức đại Luật Nhân Quả, và trọn cả diễn trình khai mở tiến hóa. Y hiểu rằng cái hiện có vốn là kết quả của những gì đã có. Tương tự, y biết rằng điều sẽ xảy ra sau này vốn là biểu hiện của những nguyên nhân đang phát động trong hiện tại. Thế nên, chu kỳ phát triển là một tiến trình có ba giai đoạn.
preceding ideas and it is interesting to note how this first great result of meditation takes one right back to the true facts anent divine manifestation and emphasizes the three aspects through which every life (from an atom of substance to a solar Logos) expresses itself. The great Law of Cause and Effect and the entire process of evolutionary unfoldment are recognized and that which is, is seen to be the result of that which has been. Similarly that which will later eventuate is recognized to be the working out of causes set in motion in the present, and thus the cycle of development is seen to be one process existing in three stages.
Ba giai đoạn vừa kể trong ba cảnh giới tiến hóa của nhân loại tương ứng với ba chiều không gian. Người môn sinh sẽ thấy thú vị khi tìm các tương đồng này trong những bộ ba khác nhau. Nên nhớ rằng phương diện thứ ba (chất liệu thông minh), là Chúa Thánh Thần hay trạng thái Brahma vốn tương ứng với quá khứ (vì thế có ngụ ý về tính chất của điều ác). Phương diện thứ hai (tâm thức) là trạng thái Christ hay Vishnu có liên quan đến hiện tại. Trong khi đó, chỉ tương lai mới hiển lộ tinh thần, trạng thái cao nhất hay Đức Chúa Cha. Qua tham thiền tập trung, dòng tư tưởng này sẽ trở nên sáng tỏ. Từ đó sẽ phát triển ý thức cân đối tỉ lệ, và ý thức giá trị đúng về trình độ hiện nay trong thời gian. Y cũng có thể tránh tạo nghiệp tương lai, và đẩy nhanh tiến trình giải thoát.
These three stages in the three worlds of human unfoldment correspond to the three dimensions, and students will find it interesting to work out these analogies of the various triplicities, remembering that the third aspect (intelligent substance), the Holy Ghost or Brahma aspects, corresponds to the past (hence a hint as to the nature of evil). The second aspect (consciousness) or the Christ or Vishnu aspect relates to the present, whilst only the future will reveal the nature of spirit, the highest or Father aspect. This line of thought, through concentrated meditation will become clear, and a sense of proportion and a sense of just values as to the present point in time will grow. A recognition also of the relation of all lives to each other will be developed and the life of the aspirant will be stabilized and adjusted so that past karma will be adjusted and possible future karma negated and the process of liberation will proceed with rapidity.
